Step into a new realm that borders reality and dreams with this new realm mod – The Twilight Forest. Explore a world of dense forests and discover a world filled with new things.

What the Mod Offers

The mod opens up a portal to a new dimension called the titular Twilight Forest. This new world is endless, like the vanilla world, but mostly features forest biomes. This realm features an enchanted fairy tale vibe and has a darker, grimmer feel to it.

Almost everything in this new world is unique, from the new trees, blocks, monsters, and more. There are also occasional structures and cave system that contains new ores and metals. The mod also contains strong, unique monsters called “bosses” and includes a Naga, a Lich, a Hydra, and so much more.

Should You Install It?

The mod adds a realm with many challenges and a new world to explore. Although the mod is very content-heavy, most of the new content is inaccessible unless you enter the new world through the new portal.

How to Use

To get started in the mod, you first need to create a portal to access the Twilight Forest; after doing so, you’re ready to explore!

The portal can be assembled in any shape and size you want, the image above is just the minimum size requirement, and the portal can be made in many different shapes and sizes. The portal functions as long as the following conditions are met:

1. The frame is made out of Grass, Dirt, Podzol, Mycelium, etc.
2. On top of the grass are flowers, mushrooms, leaves, plants, etc.
3. The frame must be completely filled with water.
