Stellar Sky Mod (1.12.2, 1.11.2)— Real Stars, Galaxy and Planets

Forge

Make Minecraft more beautiful by drastically changing the sky and the heavens above with Stellar Sky Mod created by Abab9579.

What is the Mod About?

The mod changes the Minecraft sky into something more realistic and beautiful. The mod also adds some really fancy stars, planets, clouds, etc. The mod even has real-life constellations. The mod is highly configurable and features an optional Time HUD.

Should You Install it?

A few Shader packs do the same thing but not to this extent. The mod is wonderful and is also compatible with Shader packs. However, the mod does require a lot of resources and could pull your FPS down to the 40s, depending on your system.

Features

  • Real colored stars rise at night; They even twinkle! (Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Stars!)
  • The Sun and Moon are much fancier and smaller than the default, and they move diagonally like the real world!
  • The Milky Way can be seen in the night sky! (after ver 0.1.22)
  • The length of a year and the length of a day can be changed by config.
  • The current time, day, and year are shown on the HUD. It can be manipulated by pressing the key ‘U’ (Change Time Info Text).
  • Client Settings is configurable via HUD.
