Fullscreen Windowed (Borderless) Mod (1.19.4, 1.18.2)— Borderless Window

Is Minecraft unable to run in your native resolution? Fix that problem by installing the Fullscreen Windowed (Borderless) for Minecraft mod!

What the Mod Offers

This simple yet handy mod allows the game to run in a borderless windowed mod instead of the default fullscreen. With the borderless windowed mode, you can use multiple monitors by hitting escape, use alt+tab with the game smoothly, have other windows on top of the Minecraft client, and more.

You can if you still want to use Fullscreen mode, even with the mod installed! Just hit F11 to go full-screen.

Should You Install It?

Playing in a borderless window provides many benefits. We highly recommend trying out the mod to see how useful it is.

Features

Advantages of borderless windowed versus default fullscreen:

  • You can just hit Escape and use your other monitors without minimizing the game
  • You can alt+tab out of the game more smoothly
  • You can have other windows on top of the Minecraft client when it’s not active

How to Use

  • Move the Minecraft window to the monitor you want to use for fullscreen.
  • Then simply hit F11 (or the key you have keybound for fullscreen).
  • That’s it! You’ll get a borderless windowed client!
