Extra Rails Mod (1.12.2, 1.11.2)— New Additional Rails

Create complex rail systems with the added rails from Extra Rails Mod by mod developer Shadowfactsmc.

What is the Mod About?

Extra Rails Mod adds five additional rails to the game.

Locking Rail

Locking Rail holds the mine cart in place and releases it if there’s a Redstone signal.

Direction Rail

The direction rail propels any mine cart that passes it in the direction of the arrow.

Teleporting Rail

Teleporting is a magical rail that teleports the mine cart to the other teleporting rail it is connected to.

Comparator Rail

The comparator rail acts as both comparator and pressure plate, giving a Redstone signal output based on the cart’s inventory.

Wooden Rail

Wooden Rail is the same as normal rails but limits the speed to half of the normal.

Should You Install it?

The new rails are great and essential when planning a complex railway system. We highly recommend installing this mod.

Configs:

enableTeleportingRail

If true, the Teleporting Rail will be enabled. If false, the Teleporting Rail won’t be visible in the creative tab or in JEI, and it will not be craftable. By default, this is true.

enableWoodenRail

If true, the Wooden Rail will be enabled. If false, the Wooden Rail won’t be visible in the creative tab or in JEI, and it will not be craftable. By default, this is true.
