What the Mod Offers

Thermal Foundation Mod is the basis for the Thermal series and is a requirement if you want to use Thermal Expansion and Thermal Dynamics. This pack provides some content that may not be useful to vanilla Minecraft. However, the true function of this mod arises when combined with the Thermal Expansion mod, the Thermal Dynamics mod, or both.

The mod provides new ores, new ingots, and new materials, but it doesn’t have any means to use the latest materials and ingots – as their uses require another mod.

Should You Install It?

The mod isn’t very useful but is required when playing with the Thermal series. The new items, ores, ingots, and materials this mod provides are all great, but they are limited and have no special use unless you install the complete Thermal series.
