B.A.S.E. Mod (1.12.2, 1.11.2)— Tool and Library in One Mod

Forge

Are you tired of having a dozen types of the same copper and silver ingots in your game? Then the B.A.S.E. mod is for you! The Acronym Coders team developed this tool and library mod and had a cool solution to various modding problems.

What the Mod Offers

B.A.S.E. mod solves conflict problems by creating a customized package for the same problems with ingots, plates, gems, dust, ores, blocks, and more. The mod generates all the resources you need in the lunch, uses only one template texture for each help with the same name, and adds only a color layer to improve game performance by reducing the textures the game needs to load.

Should You Install It?

If you are having trouble playing with dozens of mods simultaneously, especially if you have mods that add the same ore and ingot, then this mod is beneficial.

How to Use

The mod generates all the resources you need on launch. By using one template texture for each resource and then applying a color layer, we reduce the load time and the size of the mod. This also makes it much easier for the users and resource pack makers to perform texture changes. Below you can see the template textures.

This is the template textures after a coat of blue color has been applied.

You also have the ability to create your very own materials using MineTweaker. Currently, this mod supports the ability to auto-generate new materials like:

  • Ores
  • Nuggets
  • Ingots
  • Storage Blocks
  • Gears
  • Dusts
  • Plates
